The government are thinking about bringing in student tuition fees. Already according to Budget 2008, student registration fee has gone up 50%. So can we afford to pay tuition fee let alone registastion fee?

its terrible if it comes in 3rd level education will be impossible to afford for many myself included we protested in our thousands in dublin the other week and it was great to see people standing up for themselves I just hope it makes a difference the scary thing for me is there is a poll on the iadtsu website about fees and some were undecided and more worse still some were in favour. I don't know its bad now at the moment.

Couldn't agree more! They're such idiots, they want us to be educated but how can we be if we can't afford it? They REALLY didn't think that one through!

Its really fecked up because they always complain not enough people go to 3rd level education and of course alot of people dont with those stupid fees and they way alot of people this year couldnt get a grant due to them using the figures of last years pay......eejets!
